In Memory
I wanted to share a few items from Molly's Celebration of Life. This update is for people who could not be there, as well as for the record of Molly's illness and life that this blog has become.
We had a wonderful set of family, friends, co-workers, and comrades speak about Molly's life and their relationships with her. The fullness of her life was felt in people and in words. Some photos are below.
Some of Molly's favorite music was also performed by her loved ones.
A kite for Molly, echoing Refaat Alareer's poem, "If I Must Die."
Lastly, a few other items. Here is a tribute video created by Dean Mougianis. It focuses on Molly's work as part of Pittsburghers for Public Transit.
And finally, if you feel like jamming, here is a (massive!) group-created playlist. Molly asked for people to select songs that reminded us of her; we compiled them here:
All love.

Everyone did such an amazing job with a task that probably felt impossible at times. Banger playlist too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this update. I remember during one of our meetings for the pittsburghers for public transit, she asked everyone to pick a song for motivation. She picked "fight song". Every time I hear it, I think of Molly.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing all of this, I'm glad to have this video and spotify playlist archived here. Everything she said and did in that video is so incredibly inspiring to me every day. - Molly F.
