Chemo part 2
Hi, friends. We decided to do inpatient chemo, which starts today. I'll be in the hospital for 5 days and then home for 2 weeks. The goal is to get through 6 rounds, but we'll do a scan after 2 rounds (6 weeks from now) to see if there is a response.
Surgery is likely after chemo.
I'm feeling good about the decision and grateful for all the support. 💜💜💜
Special shout out to Liam who is really holding things down amidst the turmoil of the last 5 months.
And here we are this morning before school. Nora is upset because she wanted to take the picture (our friend Katherine gets the photo cred; she is here to help this week 😀). And yes Nora is wearing Elsa jellies to school when it's 37 degrees outside.
We'll be thinking of you, all of you, every day. Wishing you a gentle time thru the inpatient chemo and comfortable rest between sessions. Any special requests that can be fulfilled from Pgh, let us know. Love and hugs to all.
