Spoon Full of Sugar
Meanwhile, I got out of the hospital yesterday and am now recovering in Soho with Emilie and Merry! It’s a bit of a challenge for my incision because they make me laugh so much, but I’m sure the laughter is ultimately good for my healing. π₯°
My hospital stay was really good overall. Thank you so much to my awesome visitors, James, Alison, Siobhan, Brandon, Tessa, and Emilie!
Check out this view from my room:
And this awesome balcony Tessa and I discovered!
I’m feeling good about my decision to come get surgery in NY. It’s hard to be away from the kids and Liam, but they get to spend this awesome time with Siobhan and James. And I had a successful surgery and get to see all these people I love and celebrate my NED (no evidence of disease) status.
Thank you, as always, for all the love and support,
Molly
Celebrating from a far your NED status! And hopefully the spoons full of sugar will keep coming.
ReplyDeleteHuzzah for NED! May it be kite flying season asap!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the update! So thankful that it went well. If course I have to leave you my new favorite song for inspiration - https://youtu.be/6tkmkwufRVw, thank you, we love you!
ReplyDeleteI'm old enough to remember reading Readers Digest which came monthly in the mail. There was always a humor section titled "Laughter Is The Best Medicine". Believe it, it's good for you.
ReplyDeleteYippee! So glad the surgery and hospital stay went well, and Mary Poppins is helping out at home! Those views and that balcony and those smiling faces of friends and family look so wonderful. Hope you can get some rest in between laughing and looking forward to seeing you again soon. -Molly F.
